I’m going to use it for marinades, barbecue sauce, etc. We have a smoker and do a smoked cream cheese, so we’re going to add this jam with that! Anything that is savory will be great with a little smoke flavor. Turn the heat down slightly and let it simmer on the stove for a few minutes. Remove it from the heat and let the vinegar cool slightly.

Next, add about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to the pot. The mixture of these two ingredients will cause a fizzing reaction. (Helpful hint: You may want to do this part in the sink to minimize potential messes.) Once the fizzing has stopped, discard the liquid.

Then, scrub the pot with a dish brush or scouring pad suitable for the type of cookware you’re working with. If needed, add a bit more baking soda and elbow grease until the stain is completely removed.Kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15081125968062603904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6718329606756105887.post-12784450385783853902022-02-01T22:37:46.125+00:002022-02-01T22:37:46.125+00:00To clean your burnt pan, cover the burnt area with...To clean your burnt pan, cover the burnt area with pure white vinegar & add 2 tablespoons of bi carb soda.
Boil for 5+ minutes.Kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15081125968062603904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6718329606756105887.post-14763902000435086102020-08-19T19:51:03.009+01:002020-08-19T19:51:03.009+01:00I loved this as i have just made my second ever ba...I loved this as i have just made my second ever batch of jam and thought ut needed turning up to thicken it , it was so yummy and then it caught i poured it into another pan , tasted it and put ut in jars , i will try it tomorrow ...but i used my late mums pan and your tips on restoring ut have made me feel better about tge whole experience ... i can always go back to the pint of blueberry jam i made i march 😀

Mrs Bee Vintagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18191497303275647320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6718329606756105887.post-16722781078527908082020-05-27T17:30:51.051+01:002020-05-27T17:30:51.051+01:00For your Burt pot put 2cups of water some dawn or ...For your Burt pot put 2cups of water some dawn or soap powder works better bring it to a boil and let it cool down then scrub lightlyAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17697874767497801985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6718329606756105887.post-86165265118653671112020-05-27T17:28:45.289+01:002020-05-27T17:28:45.289+01:00My peach jam got burn and it taste burn what I did...My peach jam got burn and it taste burn what I did I change from pot with out stirring 2 large potatoes slice up put jam while was boiling let it for 3 min took all potatoes out fill a pan half of water set your hot pot in it And let it cool down work pretty good Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17697874767497801985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6718329606756105887.post-90359597155459657162020-04-15T16:20:03.237+01:002020-04-15T16:20:03.237+01:00Just jam, made two batches of plum jam, one with c...Just jam, made two batches of plum jam, one with cinnamon, other plain.
